Various activities and positive progress have been achieved throughout the first 6 months of this grant running according to the milestones that have been set. Among them, a series of meetings (dated 31 January 2024, 24 April 2024 and 16 May 2024) with the Cameron Highlands District and Land Office (PDTCH), Cameron Highlands District Council (MDCH), Irrigation and Drainage Department (JPS), District Agriculture Department Cameron Highlands, Orang Asli Development Department (JAKOA), Pahang State Forestry Department, Pahang Corporation, Solid Waste Management and Cleaning Corporation (SWCorp), Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), TNB Power Generation Sdn Bhd (Genco) and TNB Energy Services (TNB ES) was held. The meeting aims to introduce the Translational Research Program to stakeholders and agencies in Cameron Highlands and at the same time has received approval to hold the program there.
